I want to figure out how to make a mod from UO, to make the combat system (melee fighting) more interesting. What I mean is, in order to get a hit you have to hit a button right at the moment you're beside your opponent. Kind of like zelda if you can remember that... I think you know what my plans are.... lol.
Any assistance to making this possible would be appreciated.

i guess you could do a flash game with uo pics .. and maybe even uses php to grab char stats from a shard webserver??

great site though rarely updated with anything UO .. still has UO flash movies that are just Great ..
(btw) i've seen the name of that sites owner on our shard .. not sure if it is the same guy but his OSI name was RonaldMcDondald and was a murderous man known for killing GM's ..
Though i dout this is what you you were thinking i'd say its probly the easiest way to do this .. making a change in UO like that i would think would be very hard ..and require a rewrite of the hard code in a massive way

No wtfman has ever played here. Ron is very well known through out the UO community due to his web site. So there are a lot of people that tag that name for that very reason. He has been away from online gaming for quite a few years now. Nighthawk is also away from online gaming unless his wife gets interested in one, but until then he has stated that he refuses to play any mmo's until that day. I knew both of them pretty well back on Baja in the old days. I don't know much about GB and never really cared too much for the guy. I have no idea what he is up to now days, but I am positive he isn't involved with UO though.
The closest that any wtfman has got to this server was a conversation that was posted between NH and me involving insta hit that we had few months back that was posted by Kraarug. I wish both of them would start up playing again, but they are pretty much at the end of the road for this game and have been for a very long time.
