Do you gain resist in your own house?
Have been Flame Striking myself for about an hr and no gain.. just got my own house and started macroing it up... stuck at 96...

Yep, only place you dont gain resist is in town. I have made a couple gm resisters in my house.
Not that this matters (atleast for me it doesnt), but there is very little difference in the resist formula once you hit the upper 90's.
At 99.3 i think i had a run of 2000 FS's without a gain (but that was very rare as it may have only took 1000 more casts to hit gm)
You may want to look into resist parties. Or hire some NPC mages... much better than selfcasting!
