I need a PI

Post by archaicsubrosa77 »

Every searchable source lately given out by vets which you could view game mechanics of the second age era have become inaccessible mysteriously. "Maybe I changed security settings on accident I have no idea". Yet strange things have been happening lately. My razor counters are supposed to be functioninng but are not for example. But that's not the purpose of this thread.
Can anyone either give me an accessible reference site in English :) or provide me with any information on how peacemaking worked on creatures provoked?
Sure peacemaking is good for taming, running through dungeons unscathed (although I even read posts previous to this electric paper shredding of sorts where you were supposed to remain still or risk being re- targeted to nerf my own skill I am training for the sake of accuracy if it is, and to be fair if so) and it maybe even good for looting a corpse that just died in the midst of a swarm being you cannot remain hidden if it is not your own.
I am just trying to find new uses or old forgotten ones for alot of skills hardly anyone tries to master at present and if anyone could help it would be appreciated.
I understand the rule of thumb now is accuracy that got befuddled somehow, and that should be law so as not to make anyone out to be the bad guy in this, or to be seen as favouring one person over the other being the laws laid down were not by anybody's design here.
So could anybody help me and maybe anyone else who wants to research this game a little deeper with maybe a couple of links so we could understand the era a little better?

I've been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to figure out what the hell you are talking about, and I still can't come up with anything.

Huh? Like Hawkins I can't even begin to come up with a reply to this.

I am asking for links from ages past that are not sourced from a language foreign from mine (English), and if peacemaking ever affected provocation...which I myself found hints that it had.
Why bother posting if you couldn't answer?
I have seen alot of hostility over being era accurate...and I think we should all just give into it rather then fight it is what I am saying. So even if it nerfs any characters I made, so be it...fair is fair. That's why I would like any links on the matter and thanks to anyone who can help and if you can't you can say so in other ways then..."Huh?"

This thread should answer your peacemaking questions.

I care little what you think of me...or anyone else for that matter, you like me or you don't. And if you don't that doesn't bother me at all. To each his own. I am here to experience an involved game.

If all I wanted to do was blow up things and kill innocents and nothing but I would be playing Grand Theft Auto with cheat codes with little care for the story line. I just wanted to explore it further.

I had links that showed provocation was canceled by peacemake, but now they are unretrievable and the search engine was in German or something. Baitlin was drawing from it before to prove his case. I can pull those links up by page but I cannot go any further.

Now to insult me for having asked for help in finding the answer, a real answer whether it be favourable or not wasn't necessary. But this game has proven to be more brutal and everyone is out for everyone elses hide, so I don't take much offense to it. Why should I ?

But I would still appreciate any era dated information dating to the uses of peacemaking during T2A if anyone could find anything.

First I suggest you read this... http://www.wikihow.com/Ask-a-Question-Intelligently
Second this may be helpful, I don't know...http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://uo.stratics.com
Some of the pages on archive.org don't work sometimes, it's intermittent, just have to keep trying every now and again.
Here is a link to your specific question http://web.archive.org/web/200007110620 ... bard.shtml but it's dated after the target date of this shard. I don't know if anything changed from our target date to that link's date.

Otherwise, all of you other guys insulting those asking for assistance, are the true retarded 7 year old's on sugar highs. Considering those who choose to ridicule are typically the less mature and younger of those who accept the insult and move on... My suggestions is to take a good look in the mirror before jumping someone. Granted the question was not asked smartly, it was a legitimate question. With any amount of intelligence, his original post is decipherable unlike the original claim of not understanding his question, just a show of the reader's ignorance perhaps?

Yes, just go on pretending like wall of text, no punctuation, barely recognizable English is a suitable way to ask a question. If you are going to ask someone else to do your work for you, then at least take a couple minutes to make your posts legible. He is clearly capable of doing so, as the edit of his second to last post shows. It is simply a matter of motivation. Often, peer pressure is great motivation, even if it is a little unpleasant at times.
