Lag Spikes??

Post by bLizTIc »

So does anyone know why there is a sudden rise in lag spikes in the server? :?:

Game suddenly became unplayable.

Eh, weird effect though.

7 seconds good connection, then 2 seconds no action and all this in a constant loop.

This is because the server was moved to canada, where the server is powered with bacon fats!

I'm still getting these pretty consistently and I never had a problem up until a few days ago.

Lag spikes are HUGE. Game is pretty much unplayable like this.

Yeah I must say it really doesn't help that people store over 500 items on their boats. I think one boat I saw was probably close to 1k.

I was going to start a new thread but I guess this is where this goes. Since this is a free shard I try to avoid bitching about things, but right now I can barely play the game. This has been happening a lot lately, but it is especially bad right at the moment. Sorry, had to vent a little.

I'm in agreement with slida, we're playing UO for free so bitching would be a completely selfish display of ingratitude. The problem lies in the fact that I can't even play at this moment due to the lag.
