Deacon's finally been taken care of...

Post by LargePiece »

Well at least for 353 hours of macroing time if he doesn't want stat loss.

Who's been killed by deacon before? I have! His reputation as a pvp legend prompted me to try and run away when he attacked me recently. Silly move really. I've never seen someone para, precast another para, whack with a hally and drop para again so quickly.

I'm feeling rather happy today however, because now we're even...

After another of his poor non-pvping victims breathlessly informed us that he'd just escaped from the famous deacon, Tiberious and myself decided to form a two man posse and trawl the dungeons for signs of his dastardly behaviour. After a bit of looking we decided to utilise the amazing rune library in the shops North of Vesper to visit some more likely dungeons. Just as we were about to gate however, Deacon found us. He poked his head in the shop door and dropped a combo to start things off...

Soon the had fight moved out on to the road where (much to our surprise) it turned out he wasn't carrying any trapped pouches. After stoically soaking up both our combo's he took flight with only 2 or 3 hit points to spare. Unfortunately our poor New Zealand internet afflicted horses weren't up to the task of finishing him and we gave up the chase. We lamented over the fact that we probably wouldn't see him again, but little did we realise that his ego was to prove his undoing.

We then tried the famous hangout of murderers (Buc's Den) but to no avail. Just as we were about to give up the search we decided to go for one last walk up the Vesper North road. We soon came across a poor harrased shop customer who we stopped to chat with. Suddenly, there was Deacon, back for another round...

He dropped a blade spirit on us; presumably a tactic for evening the odds. Unfortunately for Deacon, it decided it rather wanted to be friends with it's caster instead of us.... An exp and ebolt combo later with a few hits from an angry blade spirit and no more Deacon. A rather quick fight and ignoble death not to mention a little unfair (two of us and a blade spirit vs deacon) but one with a rather satisfying result.

I'd like to think I'm not one to gloat normally but I hope this post gives some satisfaction to all the people he's killed. If you want your million pots, rune books and other stuff back Deacon, pm me or Tib. I'm sure the 8 hours x 44 murders of macro time is enough punishment. :)

Ah good, another player who likes to grease the toughies on the server.
(EDIT my slightly hasty earlier response) I'm sure deacon will let you lick his shoes if you ask nicely.

I like to report things without exaggerating them. If that means people like yourself feel the need to respond with poorly spelt hassles, then so be it. If you'd like to be my target, you can find me in Vesper. :)

Hah, how'd the blade spirit boomerang on you?

And why wasn't someone recording? This sounds like it would have been hilarious to watch.

Np. :) I don't even have the alcohol excuse for my prickly response, maybe it's just my time of the month...

No way! I used to live in ChCh. In Auckland now though. There's a few other ChChers on here too, Tiberious and Aziza Soultaker as well.

Tib and I tend to hang in Vesper mostly.

he had more murders yes, and he didnt kill newbies like most of T2A, im pretty positive that the highest bounty was driz at 18k, but it all depends on the player who places the bounty, me personally would never put a bounty on another player, also havent been given that option yet :D
