The Humble Village of Awesome always tries the cater to the needs of the new players to UOSA. And now, the time has come to request a Village add-on to further the cause of making the life of the newb slightly less overwhelming. The Humble Village of Awesome is asking the fine community of UOSA for approval of a forge and an anvil, to be placed among the north Village homes, close to the mountains (please see the image below). This would certainly make mining around the Village easier, and also add to the aesthetics of the surrounding area.

While The Humble Village of Awesome is not a guild, and has no desire to be one or be affiliated to one, I ask that this obstacle could be overlooked. The no-guild affiliation policy is in place for one purpose only, to make everyone feel welcome and to let all new players choose their own path when starting brand new on this server. The last thing this server would want is to have potential new players leave because of lack of assistance to new players that might have a different view on how the wonderful and diverse game of Ultima Online should be played.
The Humble Village of Awesome actually has thrown a public event in the past, however failed it might have been. The demand for non PvP or non GM-skill required events is low at the best, and sadly I, the Manager of The Humble Village of Awesome don't have the resources to throw events more appealing to the public. The Backgammon Tournament, and the Rules of Backgammon was a solid effort, but failed due to lack of interest. Although it did spawn The Humble Gambling Shack and Tavern of Awesome, where I myself have won small fortunes from unsuspecting gamblers. I applaud the $$$ for thinking "out of the box" when creating events, and that some events they hold are indeed such events where no skills are needed, just having fun.
I hope that the players here on UOSA could see The Humble Village of Awesome including this add-on in the near future, and perhaps even hope for it's success.
