About boats

Post by Veeleko »

Heya, I bought a boat today (yay!) and got a few questions.

How long do they stay in the world? Do I have to refresh it every day?
Is there a way to store it? Put it in my backpack or anything?

I just don't want to lose it if I don't login for a few days..

It'll be refreshed any time another player comes near it, dowsn't have to be you. Currently the decay time on boats is 30 days, but we may revise that downward in the future.

If you get off your boat and with the key in your pack, you can double click the tillerman to "dock" it. You will get a mini-boat in your pack. This mini-boat is not blessed and may be stolen from you or looted from your corpse if you die, as can the boat key.

You can use the recall spell on your boat key and recall directly to your boat, but so can anyone else if they steal your key.

When a boat is "relaunched" new keys are make.
