Final skill for rouge? Suggestions
I am making a dexxer/rouge char. and I am having trouble desciding on the final skill I should add to my template. So far it looks like this:
Fencing: 100
Tactics: 100
Anatomy: 100
Spell resist: 100
Healing: 100
Hiding: 100
Str: 100
Dex: 100
Int: 25
Any ideas on a final skill that will be useful, or fun? So far I have thought about posion or stealth. . . Anything else??

Poison is best alongside alchemy to cut costs so no, you could stealth but it would only be good at sneaking up on people or trying to get away. Go 50 magery 50 parry. That way you can do a little magic for support and you can raise ar with a sheild.
if you don't want magery go Archery as you probably want a distance attack.

That's not entirely true. Poisoning can be useful in lengthy PVP battles, because deadly poison charges on weapons wear off quickly. I've heard tales of great PVP'ers grinding potions and applying poison during a battle, but I don't have that kind of dexterity, myself!ArchaicSubrosa wrote:Poison is best alongside alchemy to cut costs ...

Well I am going to be mostly PvM but I will occationally PvP. With that in mind, is poison effective in PvM?

And how often do people go GM in two weapon skills? what If i GMed Archery and Fencing?

I wouldn't use poisoning on a PVM, no. I think you'd end up wishing you'd trained a different skill. Actually, I think that Archaic's suggestion of settling on some combination of Magery and Parry is probably good advice!

Since you're more of a dexxer, I'd probably lean more towards a split with 65-75 parrying. 35 is enough for casting Recall from a book without failing too often. JMO

At least change the angle so people can't see where my characters are. Fire/IPBan anyone who plays my characters too plz. KThxBai.

You asked a question concerning dual weapon skills. You can have a arm/disarm key ingame and one on razor for two different weapons to change them quickly. So in persuit, in fleeing, or at a distance you can use your bow and when you or they close in you can change to a melee weapon.
Weapons take alot less time then spells to cast but magery is the swiss army knife for lack of skill in numerous areas.

pick up 30 magery so you can recall with a scroll and not fail everytime (important here)
GM Parry, if you are dexer-pvming anything use parry.
Archery is okay, but it does relatively low damage and has a long delay, plus is consumes resources.

Yea I like that last suggestion. But is 70 hiding enough to have a 100% success rate?
