Blacksmithing Gains - Is This The Most Efficient Way?

Post by armybyz »

I want to start a blacksmith, and I'm interested in other blacksmiths' experience raising their skills on this shard. I found this link on stratics http://uo.stratics.com/content/guides/b ... ssay.shtml and was wondering if this is the most efficient way you found to grandmaster your blacksmithing. If not, I would really appreciate the best way to do so.

I made
Cutlass to 43
Scimitar to 47
Kryss to 52
Longsword to 55
Broadsword to 60
Shortspears to 72
Plate-Gorgets to 98

Then I cycled off 20 Plate-Gorgets and 20 Plate-Gloves to GM.

Cost me roughly 35,000 ingots I think smelting everything I made.

Thanks, I'll give that a try if/when I ever collect that many ingots. :D

The best way to GM Blacksmithing:

Katanas - 86
Plate Gorgets - GM

P.S. Smelt everything you make!
