Great work Jolly, it's a new era of PoD. No one is safe!

Pirates do not always operate on the sea, they also operate near the sea. Just sayin'

Here be the memorial of the AFK fisher known as fisherQueen and a poor soul who was *NOT* an AFK fisher, but was unable to offer tribute, St Richard.
fisherQueen was spotted doing her usual AFK fishing routine just outside the guard zone near Magincia. This did not help.
Her boat was boarded, her goods seized, her head collected.
Many fish steaks and shoes were hauled back to base, along with a MIB.
The next discovery was one St Richard, who attempted to evade our patrols, but was eventually convinced to stop and converse with us.
Alas, he was unable to provide suitable tribute to please our captain, so he was sent down to Davy Jones' locker.
The boat and all its holdings were removed for safekeeping.
A final note - a shout out of sorts to one certain Whee. We happened upon this nice young man fishing at this wonderful dock. He greeted us warmly and while somewhat...afraid (and for good reason) he was a polite host, and after we left, he sent our captain a message saying he'd left a bag of tribute for us.
The offering was very generous, considering his line of work, and our captain was all too pleased to accept. A bag containing 10 bottles of booze, a treasure map, a set of dice, 3000 gold, and a lovely handwritten note to the members of PoD.
Thank you!

It was a very good night in deed. Stopped one afk fisher and gain some loot. But most importantly we gained a new friend. Thanks you are a very fine fellow.

Re: Pirates at it again!
Last night the crew and I decided to leave the normal fishing area and sail inland to see who was around. So after I went to Brit docks to empty my chamber pot at the port we found 2 afkers. We tried to make contact but with no luck ( for them ) we decided to make contact with our arrows and magic. Also as a reminder to all. PoD is not a guild of PvPers. We PK afkers and also stop players when we can from breaking the rules. If we find you we will try and make contact. If that doesnt work we will decide how we want to handle the issue in front of us. And if it just so happens you are active and are willing to pay a tribute to our cause we will spare your life.

Re: Pirates at it again!
From my drunken slumber I awoke to hear the wind calling my name. So I summoned my faithful crew mates from the oceans depths. I told them we had a duty to clear the seas and have no mercy on any souls.
So I was sailed south of Moonglow to find Nyght's fishman and a hired guard to protect her. I gave chase and once they decided to stop and fight I summoned a great energy vortex to my aid and finished them off.
From there one of the crew mates found a trail of fish chum in the water. After tracking it down he found a fisher that was afk in Lord British's waters. So all of our ships came to his aid and we gained access to his ship. Once aboard the ship Jolly Molly and Neptunus went to work like the deadly pirates they are. Neptunus hailed many arrows into the heart of that fisherman and Jolly went to work picking his pockets. Soon after we discarded of any evidence and found the key for the ship. We sailed for a hour till we found a priest that would rid the boat from the fisherman's spirit and we laid claim to his ship and dry docked it for our own fleet.

It was a lucky find, that boat loaded with loot as it was. To make off with the boat as well was an excellent cherry on top.
Two ships raided, three heads claimed, one ship claimed with all its goods.
All in all a productive evening!
Regrettably, I did not get a picture to mark the occasion when we busted fisherking and the security.
I did, however, snap this pic of the raid on Fish Fenc.
Edit: messed up link, fixed now.

Re: Pirates at it again!
We had ourselves a much needed vacation and today our good friend Dread Pirate Bob suggested we go for a warm up sail to get back into the swing of things.
I all too happily agreed. It wasn't long before we came upon a boat with two AFK fishers on board. Well, one fisher and one "guard" or something.
Jonah and Jean Gaultier (apologies if I spelled this wrong)
We were able to board the boat, put a stop to their illegal fishing activities, and confiscated their illegally obtained goods.
Partial loot list - 5k and change gold, several hundred of each reg, 10 or so mibs, many treasure maps, 5 or 6 invis items with high charges, various other wands/staffs with useful charges(id/heal/etc), some vanq and good charged weapons, some junk, and 200k+ fish steaks, as well as the ship itself.
Oh, and their heads. We took those too.

PoD is on something of a stand down from patrolling the seas. This does not mean we are idle. I present for your amusement the absolute destruction of a certain house killer.

Miss the good ole PoD days. Fun to reread some of this stuff.
