This year marks the third year of Cranky Christmas and as expected, you can expect new twists to be revealed as the holiday seasons approach.
In 2014, players were encouraged to hunt down the holiday Cranksters whom were terrorizing the countryside.
In 2015, the Cranksters teamed up with good old Heftimus McPry and they held down the orc fort outside the village of Cove.
For 2016, you will be be able to battle the Cranksters on their home turf. This event will kick off on December 5th and run until the new year. During this time, reindeer and a few holiday themed monsters will spawn throughout Britannia.
For those seeking adventure, a new stomping ground awaits! During the holiday season only, Cranky Town has opened a moongate to Britain.
Cranky Town is the number one mountain getaway in all of Kos Heb East. It also happens to be the only getaway in all of Kos Heb East.
If you haven’t explored Kos Heb East, you’re not alone. The few who call it their home are the crankiest of all.
Tourists are encouraged to avoid traveling out the southern gate of Cranky Town. This frozen path leads to the Kingdom of Krampus, a place of mischievous elves and holiday decor!
Committing acts of (elf) murder around the Krampus Pole may create dangerous situations.
At the southern tip of Kos Heb East, there is a clearing in the trees with a gate to Buccaneer’s Den. A return gate can be found at the docks in Buccaneer's Den.
Cranky Town Access Points
What can you do in Cranky Town and Kos Heb East?
Hunting
Cranky Town is the home of the Christmas Cranksters. The spawn rate here is increased and the region is fairly small, meaning you’ll have a better chance to farm the holiday spawn without running and tracking. The added reward definitely brings an added risk - murderers and thieves are surely to join you on the battlefield.
Shopping
On the northern end of Kos Heb East, a small village resides. You’ll find various merchants here to buy and sell goods from.
Step up and try your hand at ice fishing, it’s more fun than bobbing for apples...

Christmas Day
Santa will arrive in Britain on Christmas morning and remain in town until the new year. He will be staying at the Counselor’s Guild near Blackthorn’s Keep as usual. In this time, you can approach Santa and receive a gift. You can select from various items.
You’ll have to wait until Christmas day to find out what is available.
