Roll To Resist Poison

Can anyone tell what the roll/skills/stats are used when trying to resist being poisoned (if there is any). In other words, if someone hits me with a poisoned weapon am I auto-poisoned if their roll succeeds, or is there a counter roll I get to make. (like when I am hit by a spell, I get to resist with Resisting Spells etc.)

The chance of being posioned when hit with a poisoned weapon is the skill of the person who poisoned the weapon divided by four.

Here is how poisoning works for weapons:

When a weapon is poisoned, a certain number of "charges" is applied to the weapon when it is successfully poisoned. The number is dependent on the level of poison, and greater strength poisons have less charges associated with them. The chance of any weapon successfully poisoning the opponent is calculated using the formula:

Weapon poisoner's poisoning skill / 4

So if a person with 100 poisoning poisoned a blade, the chance of that blade poisoning an opponent is 25%, and that check is done on each successful hit with the poisoned weapon at the cost of a poisoning charge. As for a resist check, there are no checks to see if a person actually resists the poison in any way. A person who is poisoned by a weapon receives the maximum duration for that level of poison.

Just to get some clarification, is a poison charge used every time a weapon has a successful hit or only when the opponent has gotten poisoned with the weapon?
