Clearly the house has value beyond my understanding, heh heh. I thought it would make a great vendor house even though it is a significantly farther South than most of the Yew Vendor houses. Being able to post guards outside your door makes for a relatively safe environment for shoppers and owners.
The proximity to your own sheep farm also has a fair bit of value. Cloth is very easy and cheap to gather, but this spot certainly makes your first stop a lot quicker.
Either I’m severely undervaluing the greatness of guard protection, or there’s some other inherent value I am not seeing. If someone could enlighten me, it would be appreciated. If not, then you just got a free bump!
The value is the proximity to guard zone and bank, as well as being a patio which is one of the most desired houses. Having a large house in this area is desirable and they don't come up for sale often...
