how about some parameters for the auction: when is it going to end? azheman's bid stood for almost 3.5 days, which is rather unusual since almost everyone sets an ending time or lets the top bidder have it 24-48 hours after the final bid. Did you mean to set a reserve or did you think your 100k s/b would generate a lot of bidders?

this isn't a scam, just somewhat unprofessional to sell a weapon in this manner.

I don't sell weapons on the regular so I had no idea what to expect and thus no end period was posted. I thought Azheman's bid was a joke so I did not take it seriously. Mostly because people talk about Azheman in IRC all the time telling people to message him for bullshit and handouts and also because I never see him bid on the forums. I would of gladly sold to him since he asked if he had won and it appeared he was genuine. For this, I apologize to Azheman as I pride myself on being a legitimate honest merchant and player. However Capitalist bid 105k shortly after the comment so I imagine it was a nice free bump from Azheman. I do not think the lack of ending time warrants calling it a scam. If you were inclined to purchase it but were worried about the lack of an end time it would be appropriate to ask me about it. Perhaps I had forgotten to add that bit of information or in this case it may of been added once I had seen this actually has interest. There is one golden rule, in my book, on trade forum etiquette and that is to not shit on people's threads regardless of how insane or inept they may be.

I know you're just joking, but I take these kinds of things seriously and have already evaluated this thread. The only rule that at first glance appears to have been broken is rule #4.

4) No editing auction rules or contents after a bid or buyout has been placed.

This rule was enacted in order to combat against modifying EXISTING auction/sales thread rules/contents, not adding new ones, such as an end time. I will be articulating the MA's rules in the future to prevent further confusion.

As far as the Merchant's Association is concerned, no rules were broken, and he will not be removed.

This post makes almost no sense if it is addressed to me, which it appears to be as you just quoted me. I am pretty amazed by how confused you seem to be.

I never said you were scamming anyone; in fact I said 'this isn't a scam'.

My only critique was that it is 'somewhat unprofessional to sell a weapon in this manner'. As you freely admit you don't often sell weapons and had no idea what to expect, this is a fair criticism.

Now you also stated that if I was inclined to purchase the weapon to ask you about it. I did. I asked you when it was going to end and if you had a reserve in mind.
