Re: Vote for gold
I'm also a new arrival, but I can't imagine having as much fun as I've been having here on any other server.
So I've voted; thanks for making this shard such a wonderful blast from the past.
Cheers,
KV.

If I had Zong money I'd have no problem with that. Alas, I'm but a lowly paige. But I can offer a nice big "GOOD JOB!" to everyone who votes.Capitalist wrote:omg so generous of youinkognito wrote:Since Zong backed out of the raffle, I'm going to fulfill his duties!

Word I got was there is some kind of dispute going on. We're not on JoinUO, so I encourage everyone to vote using the other sites available.

Re: Vote for gold
Join UO has a new website that so far looks like a piece of crap, has no charts, and no sorting methods. Maybe it will improve but yea... What a bad change.

Re: Vote for gold
Noticed that there is no graphical banner for UOSA on UOgateway.com. I think adding some sort of eye catching era banner might boost up the rankings a bit more. That, and perhaps adding some sort of in-game voting system? Not sure if that'd be feasible or not though.

I agree, on a lot of the voting websites we have no banner to catch the eye. I don't know, but I am assuming the website owners would want to charge a premium to allow a banner.Vitiek wrote:Noticed that there is no graphical banner for UOSA on UOgateway.com. Some shards have a voting stone (looks like a guild stone sitting somewhere like near the bank). You double click it and it loads the voting webpages to be able to vote.

JoinUO.. what a joke. It's a bunch of shards nobody's heard of with online counts in the teens.

Re: Vote for gold
I agree, I think it's time we update our banners and re-investigate the current voting site niche to see where we're missing out. There are literally thousands of these sites and only a handful are worth it to be ranking well on. This is going to be on my homework list for March.Bixby Legbone wrote:I agree, on a lot of the voting websites we have no banner to catch the eye.
