Buying Carpentry

Post by Woland »

So I want to raise carpentry. Right now my real skill is at 22. I thought I could buy carpentry skills up to 30 or so but the carpenter in Britain tells me I know all he can teach me. Is there another NPC I could learn more from, or did I luck out and am stuck at 22 as far as learned carpentry on that character?

Thanks,

I believe you have maxed out what you can purchase from an npc. Sometimes if you find a guildmaster npc they may be able to teach you a bit more than a regular npc. However usually the 'show skill' goes up to around 30... leaving your real skill lower in the 20s.

I'd check with other carpenters in other cities. You may be able to pick up a few extra points from another carpenter.

Oh OK, I though you could usually buy up to 30s real skill.
I'll still try to find an other carpenter.
Thanks both for your advice!
