New Player
Re: New Player
Not for the faint of heart. But if you can get over the humps, it makes the game that much more rewarding.
Re: New Player
Make sure you max out your stats before you try and kill stuff, will make it a lot easier.

How can I level my stats without killing stuff?Chaknor wrote:Make sure you max out your stats before you try and kill stuff, will make it a lot easier.
Re: New Player
Read the new player guides for raising str, dex, and int.
Perhaps a nice player can set you up with training on an npc paladin/fighter.

The way I do it is to go to say Skara stable and do herding on an animal there. When you set you spot you want theD4ni3l wrote:How can I level my stats without killing stuff?Chaknor wrote:Make sure you max out your stats before you try and kill stuff, will make it a lot easier.
animal to move to, stand on that spot so it can't reach it. That way it will continue to try and go there. I think it makes
gains faster.
Another way is to toogle herding and lumberjacking. Lock all skills except those and turn one up, other down, work
the skill, then switch, hence toggling back and forth till you are max out int/str/dex.

I didn't add that you will need a shepards crook to do herding. They cost 25gp.
