died macroing

Had a strange thing happen last night. I was macroing eval off Lord British. I came back a few hours later to check status and I was dead. Not sure how this can happen in town. Any ideas?

People gate in alts and toss purple pots on macroers. Takes a few gates, but it gets the job done.

I'd highly suggest macroing in any other town than Brit. Avoid high traffic areas or find someone willing to lend you a macro house.

That area around Lord British is actually one of the most dangerous areas. It helps that there are always guards there, but since so many players use that spot to macro the griefers know it's a great place to kill folks with explosion potions. Guards can't stop that from happening.

Guards should be selfless and throw themselves onto the pots before they explode.

I've never know such useless guards as the ones that patrol that tower outside of Serpent's Hold. They don't attack any of the spawn, including the silver serpents.

If I were guessing, I'd say GK killed you. But I can't say for sure.
