Was there ever a fix for sound crashes?

When i first started, I crashed after i loged in.

Read the forums, and found it was a vista sound issue. I turned off sound and have had 0 problems.

My charecter is done now, and .. well I want sound! =p

Was there ever a fix?

Im assuming you've already done a Yahoo or google search on the matter?

Yeah i've searched, but anything in google with the word UO will get you bugs from 6 years ago.

Im 100% up to date on my vista.

Possibly a sound card driver update.
It's definitely hardware related.
