I've been here like a week, and I have less than 20k in the bank, I was asleep during the idoc.. Guess what, I'm not crying because there are rich players and I'm poor, because I'm still having a blast playing the game. Those rich players are rich because they invested the time and the effort, rather than spend it all on the forums complaining. Sounds like you need to go play something a bit more your pace.

Just out of curiosity, what is your outlook on life? Are you going to quit and go somewhere else because you don't have as much as the next guy? Because someone else owns all the real-estate on your block? Because they put more time and effort into what they do, and they are just better at it? You strike me as the kind of person who is probably living on government handouts and unwilling to actually do anything for yourself. I bet you have fibromyalgia too.

Sorry if I'm out of line with my post, but it really annoys me when people choose to play a game for free and then complain that something is wrong with that game. It was your choice to be here, don't expect the shard and the players to change to accommodate you.

lol. Different people definitely do have different goals in UO. Part of what I always liked about the game. IDOCs are awesome for a lot of reasons. Some people are in it for the loot, some people are in it for the house location, and some people are just there for the inevitable fight.

Not sure why anyone would get bent out of shape for not getting anything out of an IDOC.

In all my years playing UO, I've never had much gold or "stuff". I only kept what I needed to GM skills and supply my PvPing.
