4th of July Rewards
Re: 4th of July Rewards
I assumed we were celebrating Ike Turner's birthday or observing the 875th anniversary of Ly Anh Tong's rise to Emperor in Vietnam.... Maybe both....

I had no idea, this is truly incredible.GuardianKnight wrote:November 5th was the day that the GM's on main servers striked. Some went so far as to hand out rare items before teh strike began.
The GMs were all fired and replaced. There was a whole month where there was no GM to be found. Strange time.

Hah, I can see how my comment could be taken in a sarcastic way or even in a nerdy way. But I was being sincere. Thats insane that GMs went on strike. What the heck would they go on strike for? They have the greatest job ever. OSI paying them to play a game and talk to people. I think its trule interesting that this happened. Unless you made it up?GuardianKnight wrote:Is it? Re: 4th of July Rewards
The lack of admin. involvement makes for a somewhat stale shard. There hasn't been any updates/patch/fixes on the login message since like January. No easter, no 4th, etc. I think the community needs to see new login messages and perks like holiday rewards to keep it fresh and interesting. Gives some of us something to look forward too and lets us know admin. is still involved and keeping the shard moving along. Second age is or was one of the top free shards, be nice to keep it that way.
Re: 4th of July Rewards
Well said.
Doing admin here is a nearly thankless task I'm sure. But to keep the population motivated and loyal a little more involvement would go a long way. Easy for me to say, since I don't have to do the admin.
