Ventrilo Issues Need Help

My roommate and I share the same IP and I have a 4 second delay on everything i say in vent. Is there a way to reduce the speech delay and does it matter that 2 people are playing from the same ip? Thanks in advance.

Latency in Vent takes some getting used to, it can vary depending on where the server is. Fur seconds seems extreme.
Two people can play from the same ip, and the UO client uses relatively little bandwidth, so this is not likely your vent problem. Although, having two people from the same IP on vent may be the problem depending on how much bandwidth you have available.

Well I was just banned from the public vent server I was in so im trying teamspeak now. Thanks anyway for the reply.
