Anyone use a wireless keyboard?

Post by SirPsychoSexy »

I'm looking for a new keyboard. Been playing on one of those split ergonomic keyboards and it is too spread out.

I'd prefer to stick with an ergonomic keyboard but I guess I don't have to. Most of the wireless ergo keyboards with decent ratings are wireless. For those of you who use a wireless keyboard, how is the battery life? Is there ever any lag with it or unresponsiveness in the keys?

My brother has one, and said it was one of the best investments, computerwise, he has ever made. Second only to his Naga mouse.

I use this, Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 V1.0, which is wired. I have a wireless one that is identical with a mouse.
These are the absolute best and easiest to speed type IMO.

Those Comfort Curve 2000 keyboards looked really nice, but unfortunately are discontinued. The 3000 is supposedly not as good and as an awkward design.

Oh I completely agree, I have 1 of the 2000 and 1 of the first 3000 model. At work they got me a 3000 at my request and it was this new design which sucked. I found the wired 2000 model available at Walmart on special order.

See ebay for further help:

Good, now I know why I suck at PvP. It's the keyboard.

I use a regular old school keyboard, and a wired fiberoptic mouse. I like it simple, I hate change. Although, if I had a naga mouse itd be nice.

I played with a wireless keyboard when i first started on this server...i finally got sick of the hotkey delay and switched to a wired keyboard.

If you are a pvper, that slight delay from wireless makes all the difference.

Just adding my 2 cents.

I figured as much. I ended up going with a wired keyboard.
