so I keep trying to use animal lore on a tamed spider... It tells me this is not an animal? whats up with that?

I'm pretty sure a spider is considered monster vs. a sheep is an animal. Are you trying to gain animal lore?
If so, I just set up somewhere and ran a macro on an animal, I think it was a day or so to GM.

so can you lore dragons? are they considered monsters?

I just Animal Lored a non-tame spider then a tame spider, it worked in both cases -

"The animal devours meat etc...."

Puzzling.

ill try again, the spider I was trying was tamed...
