Make an orc tamer to combat him. You can make a red tamer and have a few dragons at the serps or minoc if you move the stablemaster close enough

If you don't want to take counts, I suggest not attacking blues, even if they're in you're fort area.

I'm not sure how complaining about stat loss is relevant to being drylooted. Is that a completely irrelevant complaint attached to the original one, one which dates back to not wanting counts?

They always have, that I'm aware of. I find my best fights with orcs involve being on foot.

no we dont dryloot, just take what we can use, we dont farm gold. we left stuff on your corpse after you ran and ran and ran for 20 minutes or so...

but yeah we kill mounts, and eat the meat...

its food.

its something that we have always done...

I do appoligize I did count one of you orcs on sunday. That being said I did come back and drop of tribute and other things, offered to res anyone, harassed the other blues who thought it was so uber to bring a drag against people on foot (let alone 8 on 4). I had a blast trying to run in attack and get out before walls blocked me in, and than even more fun helping your cause.
So I ask, when I started this server the orcs were dead and gone (started here in late 2011), if they are active and can't obviously get any non count area, can't we do something.

I too have stopped by and tried my best to go along with the orc play. Fought a little bit, died, and also killed and it was all in fun.

When I can I drop off tributes at the front and run off, or when I'm out in the area and see orcs they tell me to tribute, so I do.

I even got mooned once! It's all in fun and I do like it. Don't under stand why anyone would want to give them issues when they are just trying to make the game a little more interactive.

Run south from Yew until you reach the Orc Fort. Entrance is on the south side, and it is WIDE open. Just place the tribute inside on the wooden ramp.

In all honesty, I've made two characters for the orcs, and they pretty much did the same thing that you're describing. Killed me, and talked trash at my ghost. They resurrected me a few times, but blocked me in and killed me after each time.

I hope you guys can last. Seriously! The extra loot helps.

This is too true. The Shadowclan on this server do give counts, dryloot and kill mounts (I can understand mount killing as orcs technically would use horses as a food source). I have seen this firsthand and know many others who have been given counts by them.

They don't want people to give them counts but they do it all the time. They don't want people to dryloot them, but they do it all the time. They don't want people to cast deragatory aspersions, such as "racial slurs" at them because they wish to foster a "RPing" type of atmosphere or "flavor" to this shard. This is rather odd as they have done nothing but "gank" every blue that happens by if they happen to outnumber that person three or four to one regardless of whether or not the blue is attempting to initiate a means of offering "tribute" or engaging in "parley" to discuss terms of engagement or territory demarcations.

So to Shadowclan I say this, if you don't want people to give you counts, don't give them to others. Dryloot and you'll be drylooted as well. Want to foster a more interactive type of RP on this shard, reach out to the RPers on this shard, because I know for a fact they would get behind you.

You don't have to be a strict RP shard to run events, plan raids or set up ambushes or pre-planned kidnappings for ransom demands, etc....

Develop some leadership within your ranks and establish some goals as to what you want to accomplish as a clan, there's plenty of resources within the UOSA community that can get you to the next level.

What do you want special privileges? You guys kill mounts and dry loot and complain that you're getting treated poorly because people do the same to you? If you can't handle the nature of this game then by all means don't let the door hand hit your ass on the way out.

Taken directly from the shadowclan SA rules guide:

Code of conduct
As always, our main objective is to make this game more enjoyable for everyone. If you kill someone, take only what you need from their corpse and any weapons. We do not dryloot or grief-kill others. We do not harass or verbally assault others, or act in any way that someone might take as offensive. Do not give murder counts unless the opposing player has been causing you much grief. Swearing / sexual lanuage is not allowed.

Shadowclan is an open-enhrollment guild. Anyone can make an orc and join so long as they follow our rules and always remain in character. We cannot guarantee that every member won't give counts or dryloot, but the majority of us will not.
