Whats with healing

I'm para ganking a dexxer theif, I land 5 halberd on him in a row with paralyzes every time and his bandage goes off when hes at 1% bringing him to 60. I thought your timer restarted when your fingers slip? Healing is fucked, when I'm spamming paralyes and halberds on you, your bandage should not go off.

When "Your fingers slip" it effects how much you heal and has nothing to do with the timer

First off, the anecdote you provided does not give anyone a clue as to whether or not something incorrect was happening with the mechanics. You gave no indication of the length of time that passed in between para's or halberd hits. You could have hit him with a hally, dropped para spell, then went and had a sandwich.

He might have been using a heal wand, heal potions, or he was just much better at timing the use of his bandages than you figured. You can often manipulate the timer with things like trap pouches or an item like a wizards hat that effects max HP.

If the timer reset every time your fingers slipped, you would literally never get a single bandage off while fighting anything, monster or player.
