Question about taming
Would a dragon be more easily tamed, in regard to success percentage, if you severely wound it prior to taming?
Re: Question about taming
No, taming chance would be the same. Fire breath would be less powerful, but that's it.

Re: Question about taming
If you EV a dragon down to redline, dispel, cure it (you'll go grey for 2 min) and then start taming, the firebreath will do very little damage to you (though you do risk getting noto-killed).
Alternatively, in Wind next to the southern city entrance there are some line of sight bugs on this server that you can exploit to tame a dragon without it doing any firebreath damage to you at all. Lure the dragon up the hallway and away from the drakes, to the stalagmites just before the stairs to the city entrance and stand the appropriate distance away on the other side of them - you'll be able to tame hassle free. You can get the dragon stuck in the pillars going down the hallway as well and stand at the right spot to tame without being hit. Nothing spawns around here either, so other than the occasional red running through it's clear sailing.
