Well that didn't go as planned - Red Skull Bay Invasion
Well that didn't go as planned - Red Skull Bay Invasion
I was quite distraught that was personally unable to be part of the pirates invasion of White Harbor (see here for pirates assault). So, I hatched a plan to assault their docks!
It was not hard to find recruits for this death march. It seems the pirates have burnt every bridge there is in the land! With the aide of Xedos and his wife, we band of four set off to attack the pirates.
The extent of my plan was this: Hide at their doors and jump out when they arrived. I admit, a bit lack luster, BUT I had brought an orange cake! (the cake was later devoured, but we'll get to that).
After waiting for an irrationally long amount of time, with wife and children in real life whining in the background (I would beat them if I had to... these pirates HAD to be dealt with!). Unfortunately they did not arrive - Perhaps out plundering, I could not allow for this small band of warriors that I had recruited to be let down. So we ventured into the pirate lands to stick it to them!
First we plucked apples from their solitary apple tree in their orchard. (How do they keep this tree alive I wonder?) It seemed there was one guard watching the tree, but he was dealt with easily enough and we commenced burning down their ships upon their eastern shore.
So far, the plan was going... well not exactly as planned, but it was in our favor so we made our way to the docks to burn down the rest! This is where things took a dramatic turn...
You see, one of the challenges of interacting with completely new people, is that you have very little control over what happens. I, noticed immediately that upon the docks there were duels going on (not pirates of course). So I at first decided not to interfere. However, the warriors that I had recruited, had other ideas and charged in! Madness ensued and I decided what the frock?! Turns out we gained favor in their site for not running from a good fight. After the battle The Mayor (from what city I don't know) and his band recovered us and restored most of belongings (they kept my accurate Halberd of evil with 3 charges the bastages!!!). We then learned that they too had been vexxed by these infamous pirates. It was not long before they joined us in burning down all the pirates boats!
Well, this night didn't go as planned, but it all worked out!

Oafule was the master of our navigational charts! Without him we are at a loss for navigating through this realm!

Well that didn't go as planned PartII - Red Skull Bay Invasi
Well that certainly didn't go as planned.
However Kal In Ex's massacre may have proven a temporary set back but he failed to kill our resolve! When I am able I shall present more details. but for now I tip my hat to Ann excellently executed quick assault by Kal El (aka Super pk Man)
updated with pictures.
Indeed our 'occupation' forces were greatly reduced by Kal El!

Once again, we just missed each other. I am seeing a pattern here though. You show up, attempt to burn our boats and leave. You even leave behind some of your own!!!! Well we can't be responsible for lost landlubbers who won't go to work on our docks so the Captain cleaned up that mess.

Re: Well that didn't go as planned - Red Skull Bay Invasion
Since the theme seems to be "leave our friends behind", The Core decided to invade White Harbor last night to see if that still held true. After a fierce little battle, the leader of White Harbor turned tail and ran leaving his comrades all to die! He was finally challenged by the seadog known as Darph Nader to a duel. Hopefully next time he'll learn to stay and fight to the death with his guild!

Ye White Harbor folk be burnin' our ships and attacking our mates. Foul deeds! To the briney deep with ye!
