Cartography

Post by Kenrick »

I gotta ask, has anyone on this server GM'ed cartography? Are there any t-hunters here actually capable of doing level 5 maps??

I ask, because I am having insane issues getting any gains. To get from 97.0 to 97.1, it took me over 1000 world maps. :( I don't remember it ever being this bad!

I think Furby did. I don't know of anyone else.

I'm happy to hear that. We have made a pledge to never make skill gain any easier than it is right now. A GM Treasure Hunter should be in high demand. Making skill gain easier would be highly unfair those that have already done it.

Aye, and the speed did pick up. I just had hit a huge wall at 97.0 and freaked out. It got a bit more acceptable after that.

99.6! Anyone with level 3-5 maps to sell please PM me :)

Nope, you've gotta be 100.0 to do level 5's. So I'm saving those up.

You can do level 5 maps with GM Lockpicking, but you don't need GM Carto to decipher, mine is only 95.

At 99.6, the "That map is too difficult to attempt to decode" message sure seems like a dead giveaway.

Unless something has changed and/or used to be different, you need 100.0 Cartography to decode deviously drawn maps. Maybe you confused cleverly with deviously?
