While not the best business practice, Cattie is well within her rights to do what she wills with her items. She also included from the beginning that she reserves the right not to sell.

I just don't understand why she would take the items off. Clearly in demand, they would have probably sold for much more.

If the mysterious guild-mate was a true friend he would recommend for the item to stay listed to increase his friend's (Cattie's) coffers.

I am sure Cattie is wealthy enough not to care about the difference which is why she sold it to her friend.

All that said, some of the rhetoric in this thread has been offensive and clearly expressed in the wrong forum. It is only a game after all...
