Chance to Hit % - Archery vs Wrestling

Post by Nystal »

I know the Chance to hit formula is:
Hit Chance = ( Attacker's Weapon Skill + 50 ) ÷ ( [Defender's Weapon Skill + 50] x 2 )

Simple question - Does this apply to Wrestling vs Archery (wrestling as defense)?

Absolutely.

Wrestling is a melee skill, just like swords, fencing, and mace fighting.

Its only 50/50 if both are GM... or Equal skill. As Bows often give more Archery instead of Tactics it can be very different. So no need to be rude!

Attacker/Defender table
5 25 50 75 100
5 50 37 28 22 18
25 68 50 38 30 25
50 91 67 50 40 33
75 114 83 63 50 42
100 136 100 75 60 50

@Roadkill - Cheers for answering, I know Wrestling would count as a melee skill but was more wondering about the Archery as it's ranged :)
