Tools?

I've been thinking about setting up a vendor that sells GM made tools but didn't know if people would bother with them. I heard that GM Tinkered tools last twice as long as Vendor bought ones. So checking the NPC vendors for prices, I thought that if I took their prices and doubled it for my tools, that should be a fair price right? Well, on a few of the items, if I were to pay average market price for the materials to make them, I would be losing money. But if I were to use prices that give me profits while purchasing the materials, I'm concerned that my prices would be too high. Any advice here?
