Re: provoking
ty. i couldnt remember its been so long. i know at one at you had a 100% success rate to provoke anything that could be provoked in uo.
Re: provoking
that has never been the case, because every monster has a different difficulty level for provocation.. now when publish 16 came out and you were able to reach 120 music/voke, that was a different story, but yet new & stronger mobs were released..

Re: provoking
This was actually not true in T2A. Provocation didn't become difficulty based until early 2002 with the release of Publish 16 in July 2002, well after UO:R, Third Dawn and Lord Blackthorn's Revenge.alatar wrote:that has never been the case, because every monster has a different difficulty level for provocation.. now when publish 16 came out and you were able to reach 120 music/voke, that was a different story, but yet new & stronger mobs were released..
When the young system was first put in place, young players would get 50 music/50 provo and go to destard to make a ton of money. The dragons wouldn't attack them and they would be able to provoke the dragons with 50 skill in music/provo. This is one reason they made it so young players could be attacked in dungeons.
Why do you make statements like this and yet you've claimed before you never even played T2A? Just curious...

I don't want to be a 'dev' here or need to be. I try to provide helpful, accurate information when I can. I find that better than answering someone's question with inaccurate information to make myself look smarter or up my post count.alatar wrote:was that your starting statement towards saying im a newb? lol, the guy had a question and i answered it, sorry my facts aren't 100%, hey maybe you should be a dev here with all your knowledge of t2a,
And no I'm not calling anyone a 'newb'. Just pointing out the facts.
