Tracking Hack must be

Murders Mongoose and Mercedes Benz must have hacked me with a tracking program. They killed a guy and I looted the guy .. i ran south for about 1 min. and hid until i was unflagged criminal. As I was hidden they tracked me down 5 min later. Keep in mind i was hidden as they ran right to me. Flanked me with 3 guys. And then unhid me.

As for being grey in town. on a side note. At west brit bank I see a lot of greys that are never attacked.

gm tracking can track to something like 8-11 screens away. im guessing you were in a dungeon so there just isnt all that far to run away. so yea they used tracking. at least one of those guys is a dexxer so surely he has gm tracking.

k wasn't sure about the equation but I did think that stealth does add to being able to not be tracked?

Nope. Tracking, even at levels as low as 35-40 shown will track a GM Hider/Stealther almost a screen away (maybe more).
