When I am bored and lazy and don't want to get hirelings to follow me or stare at sheep to respawn wool in order to spin that wool to make thousands of bandages for an on overnight macro, I just go into Brit Sewers and kill things...buy bolts make more bandages and then go back down again.
It's good to have some weapon skill so when you train you don't need to waste so many bandages.
Sparring to gain skill.
