Bows or Crossbows: Is Stratics Accurate?

I went over to the weapons page over at stratics, entered my stats and skills, and found that crossbows would have a slightly higher DPS than either bows or heavy crossbows. Should this be accurate, or are there damage and timing differences between OSI and SecondAge that would render this information inaccurate?

Hrm... just did a little python script to calculate the mean damage per strike for both... and it seems they both have a mean of 25, only crossbows are slightly slower and do more reliably "average" damage due to using a larger number of smaller dice. So I guess the next question is: do tactics and anatomy affect them differently?
