New here!

Post by Vesp »

Hey everyone, I played here for a short period of time about a year ago, but quit fast because of the population. I came back just for a peek today, and I know that I'm home. The population is great, the game is just simply the way it was, and what it should've been.

If anyone wants to help me get a dexxer up to farm some liches or something, I'd appreciate it. Currently training in the graveyard trying to get some gold. It'd be cool if someone would let me into a guild to spar on another character, to make things go faster.

A few questions here..

-How's the PvP? I come from divinity, so to those who play both, how does it compare?
-Do sheep still allow you to kill them + skin them for wool?
-What skills do you use to raise Dex/Str? I haven't legitimatley raised a character in well over a year.

Thanks guys!!

Welcome to the shard. This isnt Divinity (Thank god) you will find a lot of nice and helpful people here, especially in reguards to new players (Which is somthing Divinity lacked). If you go to the guides section and click on the animal taming guide someone there has a link to a stats guide. You can kill sheep as far as I know. Pvp I cannot say as I havent gotten to it yet (Still trying to build wealth and skills)

- Its hard to say. I personally enjoy Divinity's pvp a little more. I think tank mage fighting(which is all I really play as) is a bit more fun and exciting over there than here. Pvp here is still fun though, dont get me wrong. Quite a bit different however.

-Yes you can kill and sheer them, but the respawn is super slow. I think it might be faster to just sheer them alive and let the wool respawn.

- Depends. Im assuming you are talking about a freshly created character? You can go to a stable somewhere and macro herding for str. Im pretty sure I went from 40 to mids 70s str by 72 herding, which took only a few hours. If you gm herding Im sure you could get your str into the 80s or 90s, for the cost of a shepards crook.

Divinitys PvP steals from many eras... if you find that exciting, meh have fun I guess. I personally don't like being 2 shot by a hally in under 3 seconds. What Divinity did was ruin the essence of the Era accurate PvP style they were going for, by allowing ren and even some ML aspects into it.

Do they still say they are the most accurate T2A server around?

If you can get to the skill cap, herding can get you from 40-100 strength in under an hour generally (if herding is at 0, all skills locked, herding pointed up). Do the same for snooping and you'll hit 100 dex superfast!
