Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
Hey, all- just curious about which siegers are out there... i know a lot of us jumped to siege after the trammel crap... I was mostly ATF with siege, HR Puffinstuf and Transuranic Trip... if you have a sec, post if you were siege... Ahh ya... I was also on Sonoma before that, mostly on my own but brief stints with 409 and LuT
Re: Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
lol 409 on sonoma, I can remember killing 8 of them at a time solo. They were the worst bunch of pk's back in the day. I played as Leila Rain, Jessica Bennett, Babs Bunny, Stromile-k, Maxim, and a few others on sonoma. I was in M for most of it, then went and played with the hks for factions
Black Shadow....minax ftw

Re: Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
I was Yavanna on siege in T2A. UOR thru AOS I was Jasmine. SE I was Jade. Nikita in ML.

Yes I were there.

Jed Clampett on drugs story By the EttinKing.
Let me tell ya story bout a man named Jed poor man barley kept his family feed then one day he was smoking on a joint and zedd hit him with his truck...Twice.
Re: Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
It was the "hardcore" server. All vendors charged 3x (or some other multiple) prices, 1 character per account, no statloss for reds, etc. It was ideal.
Re: Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
and no recall, no selling to vendors, higher vendor upkeep, no gating in/out of dungeons, no gold on low-end monsters, tools wore out with use, no telekinesis on treasure chests

I was Mad Bob on siege during that Era, I remember fighting ATF from time to time. They were the bluebie anti pk gz hugging guild run by Pony Express if I remember correctly. I was in ICE, =O=, -N- and UDL Mercenaries towards the end.
T2A is a nice shard but nothing beats the siege ruleset. Other unmentioned features were hero/evil system and no "I ban thee" for pks.
As I understand it the first incarnation of siege was under T2A rules (before the much maligned wipe). Maybe we could have siege rules on T2A!

Hey Hey, I was Pony's guild >.<. When I first started it was nice typing on UOAM that some lame pk's just para killed me and watch the blues pour out of britt to the cem for the reds. lol

Re: Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
Me and Pony and Horatio were all in ICE together shortly after Pony started siege. Then we fell out and became enemies. I remember fighting ATF and KGB outnumbered a lot. Sometimes they got a couple of us PKs, sometimes we managed to drop a bunch of them before the main gank arrived. Whatever side you were on it was fun times. Would be good if someone started an anti pk guild like that here.
Re: Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
The GZ hugging stuff was lame, but there were still good fights to be had there. My guild and I used to go in there and fight both the blue and red hordes simultaneously. Fun times. =)

A anti Pk guild would be hot. But, as of now wouldn't work here. Seems most people are only after the kill and loot.

Re: Shout Out- Siege 2000-2001
The PK/Anti distinction is, frankly, somewhat banal. What indiscriminate killing allowed for that I liked, however, was a meaningful "politics" of the server. Alliances, territoriality, etc. I don't think that's entirely beyond reach here, either. I'd just like to see some of the big guilds start trying to impose their will on th server and see how people responded.

The GZ stuff sucked... I agree
Was like a brief reawakening for UO for about 6 months though.
I was mostly ATF, there was never a lack of action- every night major fights, and really good players.... Thanks for the responses all
