Ancient Wyrm unlimited reflect

when the wyrm is standing in this spot every single spell casted on it will reflect

Are you sure? How many spells did you cast that reflected?

i know wyrms reflect but in that particular spot i had 4 consecutive ebolts reflected

we would need much for evidence than this...get another in that spot and cast magic arrow on it 15 times and if they all reflect, you may have something....

let's say the chance to reflect is 50%,

therefore the chance that he reflects 4 ebolts in a row is
0.5^4 = 0.0625 = 6.3%

Still a reasonable chance of that happening.

If it is 25% chance to reflect, it drops to a 0.4% chance of reflecting 4 in a row, but you know what, that's still possible.

The reflect feature is based on the UO Stratics hunter's guide if I am not mistaken. There should be some questions raised about this feature in my opinion. There should be a script attached to an Ancient Wyrm on the demo if this feature is indeed accurate or not.

I've mentioned this before, but I concur. I also find the wyrm's "poison claws" a little suspect as well, for the same reason.

Still waiting on follow-up about the "unlimited reflect in that spot" though. I will bet a castle deed that this is not the case. Any takers?

It's a 100% guarentee that there is no such thing as unlimited reflect in that spot. I coded the reflect function for the ancient wywm on this server and know for a fact that it's impossible for it to occur based on a particular area/tile. There is absolutely no code even associated with a mobile's location involved with the method.

Would bet my castle and its contents on the matter.
