I'm guessing he means their ability to hotkey steal by type and loot without any effort at all.

i am going to ask you an honest question do you have a character with stealing? if so please try to steal by target type then get back to me with how "Easy it is", because honestly its not in fact i hardly have ever used it unless i knew i was stealing a specific item in specific location that i could of last targeted anyway before hand. i have multiple thief's with different templates and have played them in many ways, try fighting a tankmage or a dexer on a thief with resist and wrestling and keeping your self alive + actively snooping and cleaning his regs + or magic items out then get back to me on how it's "hardly any effort" even stealth thiefs while yes the revel nerf that was mentioned does help escaping situations easier the entire approach on a target + cooldown management and knowing when to hold 10 stealth steps + walk + rehide + snoop is not "easy"

Yeah but seriously, a pack animal is your mobile atm. Keep your gear on it when you need it and replace it with your stolen crap

It has been this way since they did the nerf forensic ID patch. Forensic ID and thieves took a huge hit that day......is era accurate I suppose, and around here:

Era Accuracy is > all.

I've never used Steal by Type. I'm not sure if that is because I am very lazy about Razor or because it isn't very useful except in very limited circumstances.
