Felix is a known scammer, and he has a long history of pking newbs. Is that the UOSA you and I want to play in?

Felix has shady associations with UOSA bigots like Wise and Border Patrol and is funded by a shady Telamon-supported SUPERPAC.

Chumbucket cares about UOSA. He has consistently rejected Felix and Telamon's big gold approach to UOSA. Chumbucket is new and on many occasions pks have taken his gold. Chumbucket understands. He is a bard with a heart of gold.

Now this is someone I can get behind. He seems to really care about the people, because he is in that crowd of diverse players. His economic issues must be insanely better than felix's because I saw him with babies.

Although, if you looked at your forum karma, Derrick downvoted your reply here : viewtopic.php?p=337970#p337970 ; that would be an official answer, I figure.

It's saddening, but this thread (as any other self-nominating thread) wont yield any results, because there's no democracy regarding electing GMs.

Get back to what you're good at: playing UO. Start fresh. It's not a vice, really.

First of all, Felix knows I respect him, and think he is one of, if not, the finest solo pk's that I have encountered here. We had many fights, and enjoyed them all. We've traded BIG, and he always came through.

Anyhow, I voted no for several reasons:

1.- In my experience, if you need to ask for it, you are probably not the bosses' first choice to occupy a position. Listening to people who asked for more "power" instead of promoting those who I knew had the capability to carry it has bitten me in the ass both in game and IRL.

2.- I am not sure more GM's are needed, and I don't see EUO as a rampant problem, as much as afk'ers. Maybe a Seer capable of running rewardless events, and jailing afk'ers, and pretty much that's it.

3.- As has already been mentioned, anyone who might have felt wrongly treated by you when you played here will be quick to accuse you of corruption when something doesn't go his way.

Comon lads; you do realize this is his only option to try and show some love for the shard now!

From what I got, hes not a programmer, or an exe hacker or a network specialist and I don't think he really is the sort of guy to go around making events. I doubt he has tried to win the trust of the staff or anyone like that, but he really has tons of potential!

I like to kind of see em as the shard's Fonzie in a more 90's/pvp style way, except cooler.

We all know Derrick *won't* pick this up, because of past things and the idea that he wants the sandbox to be less disturbed as can be and I agree with Derrick but this is Felix's moment!

Lets show him the love and appreciation he deserves, bros!!

His track record on this shard is less than stellar. While never being banned from the game itself, he's been banned from chat multiple times if memory serves me.

He is/was a troll to many people as well as a known scammer in game. While these actions are permitted in the game, it also speaks of what type of character they are and that is not the type of person I would want to represent this shard.

Thirdly, doing an open petition on a website when this is not a democratic decision in order to sway the decision of Derrick due to public outcry is unacceptable on many levels and has that "I'm not getting my way so I'll have everyone get involved" childish feel to it. There seems to be a track record with this as I remember the same type of thing happening when he was banned from the chatroom.

If Derrick wants a new staff member, he will ask them. That's the way it should be and not the other way around with this silly petitioning to cause more drama.
