1. Can you gain resist up to 50ish quickly running through a firefield? or is it a necessity to start with 50 resist?
2. The town bulletin board quests ask you to reply at the bottom, what is the proper reply or how do you accept those, and are they worth doing gold wise for a new character?
3. I see people escorting and gating back and forth, it must be fairly profitable, beside being able to Gate, what do you do ? just run around saying "i will take thee" and gating to the locations?
4. Is there a Player vendor here that sells add-ons like small forges and spinning wheels, thats well stocked and frequently filled? (I found one outside east Brit, but Its been out the last few trips)
5. Runebooks are not blessed ? correct?.... Ive been marking one rune to get back to Town and bringing one recall to get back after my dungeon crawl, is this what most people do, or is there some other method most people use when hunting?
6. I see homes with the "house key" locked on the step, is this normal, and the key not usable by anyone but the owner? I assume they lock one on each side of the door, detect hidden after entering and the door is locked.
If the house is Public you would just use this to secure your inside rooms?
7. The Crafting Menu is totally different then I'm used to, was this the way it was pre- UOR? It seems to take 10-20 seconds to craft a single Item, is this normal or am I doing something wrong? I thought making a crafter was tough in 2000, this may be worse if craft times are this long.
8. When I try to set a macro/hotkey in the UO Game macro, and hit "apply" or "ok" it re sizes my game screen everytime to the smallest screen. It will not reset by selecting the larger size, I have to log out and back in to get my normal screen back(not the full screen, but the middle sized)... any ideas? nothing ive tryed in UO options or Razor has fixed this. Possible bug or am I missing something?
Im sure others new to the shard might be interested in some of these questions, any answers/help/advice would be appreciated, thanks for your time.
