I was just thinking to myself while collecting my first christmas rewards since joining uosa (1 trophy, 1 bell & 1 unchosen), there must be people out there collecting more that 3 rewards each holiday? or is this impossible?

Im always at my folks for christmas so have missed on xmas gifts the previous 2 years but bought a laptop so I could skype my good lady (nothing to do with uosa...) my technical knowledge is practically non existent but im guessing i have a different ip logging in with a new laptop on my folks wireless connection? guessing its illegal but would it not be easy for me to create 3 more accounts rightnow? (hypothetical question - i have 3 accounts and dont need/want anymore)

I understand you can have only 3 accounts per IP but are people able to create further accounts on other IP's, i.e. work, friends and family, or even on other devices/machines with other connections in there home? would it not be pretty simple being free to install and easy to create email accounts? - Is there anything in place to monitor if people are logging into more than 3 accounts from the same IP? - Im guessing people wouldnt be sad enough to run around locations logging in via different ip's on christmas day? or manage to perusade their grandparents to go visit santa online?

sorry if im straying off topic - just i've never understood this aspect when it comes to collecting rewards per IP.

New accounts created in the last 2 weeks get nothing from what i've been told. Seems there's always a "new guy" complaining about it.

would be quite easy to cover up your mass haul of rewards with buying posts and irc posts? the actual logistics and capital you would need to buy 75 trophies so quickly seem pretty impossible to me?

When there were automated events, there was an entire group of people who would only log on to participate in the event, obtain their silver, then log until the next event. You could actually track the spikes in population and how they always correlated with events.

While this part is true, the latter is not. The people who solely logged in for events weren't doing so to farm silver, they were doing it b/c they enjoy competitive pvp and chose not to wander the world looking for it. It just so happens to be that those same people, were the ones skilled enough to actually win the events.. The top players really could have given a shit less about the silver, it was just a product of winning.

Even myself of the 5000~ silver I had, only ever actually used it 2 or 3 times, and that was just to get CBD's before they were mass released. All of the rest was given away to friends who enjoy pixel hoarding or sold to fund my pvp & pk operations. I certainly did not attend specifically to "hoard silver". To be honest the only reason I even attended the tournaments was because there's a ladder board in place, and statistics entertain me.

This. Before I let my towers decay I had every one of my statues on display. I enjoyed the PvP and bragging rights the short time I participated in them.

I turned in a particularly slimey player who makes my skin crawl, he bragged about logging into around 15-20 accounts that day. He walked around me bragging about the things he was buying.... He is also a scammer...... Im not sure why hes still playing

i super farm lichlords with 50 dragons and invest in rares for my spare gold tyvm... not scam or abuse gift systems.
