Its smart you turned that down Fayde,
It's not too hard to get started and its a lot more fun when you do it yourself. Look forward to you recruiting your old friends, we can use more blood, the more people the more fun UO becomes, if it comes to the point that miners are fighting over mines and there's 10 people in the lich lord room I think we will be having a hell of a lot of fun at that point, field PVP!

I felt the same way when I started. It's more fun and challenging when you build yourself up from scratch.Feyde wrote:Many thanks for your kind offer Kelektra! I've decided that I want to build up my character from absolute scratch with no assistance to start off with. I figure that part of the fun is going to be trying to build something from nothing. It's what I did when I first played the game back in 97. Makes the earning of low grade materialistic elements that much more rewarding!

So it's been 23 days and I'm still loving it here. I'm in the business of building a provo mage. Completed the bardic elements of the template and I've earnt enough gold to pay for the regs to work on Magery / Med. It's not been an easy ride ... but then I wouldn't want it to be ... provoking dragons / drakes in Destard and being continually smashed by PK's (PINK BOOTS you are marked so many times on my cards!!!) .. it's very very similar to the days of olde! Seeing a red name appear on my screen still gives me the shits!!
