Halloween Hilarity and Fun Times on UOSA!

Also included is a shot of me killing someone silly enough to flag on me at WBB.
Good notes about Halloween Costumes:
They only work on Halloween.
You cannot use them while mounted (but if you put one on the day before, and login on Halloween already mounted, you may get lucky and Polymorph while mounted. My Mongbat was flying SUPER fast at first until I dismounted).
You will lose your Guild tag/abbreviation when you wear a costume and must go the guild stone to turn it back on.
Your name will turn Red but you are NOT a criminal. Players who attack you will flag grey to YOU in town (not to others) and Guards cannot be called on them.

How do you get a costume tho? Did you have to play last year?

I purchased all 7 from Telamon, but I just lost that Ettin costume to looters after a fun fight in town.

Shortly after making this post I decided to actually participate in the trick or treat event. Shortly after participating, my bard was uncerimoniously dispatched by Shallow Grave and Diogenes.

I can't say I've ever seen either of them out solo, and only assume that Shallow was just off screen when I ran like hell last time.


As for the costumes, at some point a couple years ago, there was a vendor put up on Halloween that sold the costumes. I think they went for around 10k or something back then.
Now it's all IDOC lewt and old-timers selling their inventory.
