Was thinking about playing uosa again, seeking info.

Post by matrix13 »

Hi I was thinking about coming back to play on this server again. Can someone just give me the layout of the server and how it is doing activity wise? I went to the guild recruitment thread and it seems like there are no active guilds wanting to recruit, at least on the forums anyways. Is there still alot of field pvp? Are there still active guilds at all? Any info is greatly appreciated.

There's a lot of active guilds here, just not everyone uses the forums :?
Anyway some of the active guilds are but aren't limited too;
C^V, DG, cA, URK, K^A, MoB, WL, UWL, DCT, S^T, TG, NWO, and FT$.
IRC is probably a good way to get in touch with people.

The shard is doing fine. I would suggest joining URK because urks are the best.

Welcome. The shard is pretty healthy, there is a fairly stable and extensive player economy for all items. PvP mechanics are good in my opinion, and you can almost always find a fight, usually at brit graveyard or in popular dungeons. There's a high turn-around of players, but always a central community of vets who do things like run events and help out noobs.

Guilds are for the most part are pretty casual things here, they pop-up, get big - then collapse. Rinse and repeat every six months. But you should have no problem finding an active one to join.

The staff here are great. Fair, incorruptible and hard-working.

Lots of "vets" who only logged in for tourneys stopped logging in for them since there are none currently.. lots of new players though. (all this probably for the best)
