Anyone from KoB on Pacific play here?

I used to play on Pacific in KoB and I was just wondering if anyone else from that group was around. I think one of my main char's used to be LightBringer, or something like that. I remember there was a pk by a similar name, but that wasn't me.

Been away from the game since 2001. I tried it out a couple years ago after all that Trammel and Fallopiantube stuff and hated it. I'm glad someone took the time to recreate it the way it was in the old days. I'm having a lot of fun getting pk'd constantly, just like it's supposed to be!

It is tough to make a living though with no alts or anything. Are there any guilds out there good for people that more or less like to hang out and dungeon crawl/chat? I'm not an extreme player looking to 7xgm asap or anything.

You can have up to three accounts, if you didn't know that. So you can have your farming operations running all the time you are on your other characters. Just FYI.

About guilds, Bloodrock Orcs are here bloodrock.xillin.com. There are also UWL, which are on the forums here. Really I would just look through the guilds on the forums and see which ones you like.

Yea, I was in KoB (Knights of Britannia, right?)... for a few weeks... heh. My char's name was CHAOS. A guy named Artemis (lol in fact I think it was all caps ARTEMIS like my name... a kindred spirit.. hah!) sponsored me, but he was disappointed in the end. I was booted from the guild for PKing a miner . Initially, I thought the code of chivalry was cool, but that wore off and I went back to my griefing ways. ARTEMIS had a small next door to mine.

I remember the first (and last) guild meeting I attended at the KoB tower. I kept doing stuff like polymorphing into a slime and emoting *Eww look what you stepped in!*... nobody seemed to appreciate my humor, though. That's about all the interaction I had with them.

Here's a random memory about ARTEMIS:
My first encounter with him was he tried to help us stop a PK who followed me and my cousin through a gate and stole our key (this is back when you couldn't re-key your house, which meant losing a house key made it basically worthless). ARTEMIS got killed with the rest of us. I was pretty devastated... but in the end it worked out great because the moment they implemented re-deeding, they also tore all the tents down. Since I had nothing in the house I immediately re-deeded it and brought it to the britain x-roads, and placed it right there at the x-roads. My guildies in OPP had a lot of fun hanging out there, fighting off KGB, so the fact that I had a worthless house for a long time paid off in the end.

Haha you know what, I think I remember that slime thing at a meeting! I thought that was hilarious lol. Or if I didn't at the time, I regret that and I definitely think it's funny now. And I do remember ARTEMIS, but I don't think I ever really knew him. Anyways I was more or less a kid in those days, but looking back on it we definitely took things a little too seriously. But we had some good times too.

I'm both saddened and glad to hear the story about your house which I didn't understand at all.
