Hi, New to 2nd Age and have a few Questions

Hello,
My name is Trammie Surprise! I am new to this server and in fact have not played Ultima Online in many years but remember playing it as a little kid before trammel when there was only Fel and t2a.

I was wondering if this would be the largest most active free Ultima Online shard and also what skill gains are like on this server? (Accelerated, slowed, or as they were on the real servers)

Also I was wondering if there are any guilds that take new players in to show them the ropes or if anyone could just shoot me a pm if they would like to answer some questions for me that arise as I play.

1 last thing is this server like the rest that I find where it seems there is a flavor of the month template and that's all you see people playing?

Welcome to UOSA! First of all, this shard is well populated enough to do whatever you want to do.

Skill gain, although not as slow as production shards is also not as fast as other servers. Maybe it is just like production shards, but Razor and the knowledge some people have been kind enough to post in the guides section make it seem faster.

As far as templates go, since this server's goal is era accuracy, the "rules" are rather stable, which tends to favor the tank mage over other templates for tournament PvP. However, it also means other templates are viable for everything else.
