Ya they are only bridgeable if you had a tower involved as there is a 1 tile gap in between the 2 castles.

No such thing as a secure castle but I can say you will know your neighbor

Couldn't of said it better myself.

Sidenote, it takes me 62 seconds to run from the Castles to Trinsic. Low pingers could probably do it in under 45. Very convenient.
