Quick route to GM smithing

To those who've GM'd smithing, what's the quickest way to GM?

whats yer skill at? I mostly stuck the the WIKI guide

yeah, and if your char has mining (preferably GM), smelt everything you make, otherwise go with an armor oriented way and sell to NPC to afford ingots.
